Wedding Cakes
Wedding cakes start at $500.
Wedding cakes begin at $500, which covers the cake itself with a smooth buttercream or fondant finish. Most Kitchener couples choose designs with sugar flowers, textured buttercream, or custom detailing, bringing the average investment for a 4-tier cake (serving approximately 78 guests) to around $900.
Whether your cake is for dessert or late night serving, I’ll guide you to the perfect size and configuration so every guest enjoys a slice.
Sugar Flowers & Design Elements
Handcrafted sugar flowers are my signature, with each petal shaped and painted by hand in my studio. Every bloom can be tailored to match your wedding flowers—whether it’s soft blush roses for Hacienda Sereda, romantic peonies for one of the Stella Collective locations, or elegant white orchids for the Walper Hotel.
Your cake design can also include gold leaf, ruffles, stencilled patterns, or any other custom elements that bring your vision to life. All of these details are factored into your final quote, which you’ll receive along with your custom cake sketches.
Beyond the Wedding Cake
A beautiful wedding cake can be the centerpiece, but I also offer a range of sweet additions to round out your dessert table. Think macaron towers to match your florals, cookie favours featuring your monogram, or gourmet deep-dish cookies to enjoy at the end of the night.
These extra treats work beautifully for Kitchener receptions, especially those with cocktail-style service or late-night snack tables.

The Process
01. inquiry
Get started with the contact page on the website!. A detailed questionnaire will then be sent to you for more information about your special day. My recommendation is to start the process at least 10-12 months in advance.. If you have photos of the style of cake you have in mind, or a mood board from your planner or florist, send those too!
02. cake sketches & pricing
Once I have all of those details, I will put together a number of cake sketches for you to choose from, along with pricing for each idea.
03. tasting box
Tasting boxes will be available on a set day every month, except during wedding season. This box is not customizable, but rather contains a preset offering of five of the most popular flavors. It's a great way to get an idea of the quality of my cakes and the possible choices available to you. Cost of the box is $40.
04. contract & retainer
A contract will be delivered via email and a 50% retainer is required to book.
05. confirmation & final payment
5 weeks prior to the wedding, a final confirmation of details will be emailed, as well as firming up any details needed for delivery. A balance reminder will be sent 2 weeks prior.
6. the big day! cake delivery
Today’s the day! Your cake will be delivered to your beautiful venue at the confirmed time. It will be set up and waiting the arrival of you and your guests.
