Wedding Cakes
Wedding cakes start at $500.
Each one is quoted based on the complexity of your design, and the time to produce a custom work of edible art. As a result it is impossible to have a set “price list” as each cake is custom designed specifically for each couple to reflect their tastes, themes and personality.
AVERAGE SPEND FOR A 3 TIER CAKE (70 SERVINGS) IS $900.
Sugar Flowers & Design Elements
Fancy That Cake specializes in handcrafted sugar flowers. Each one is made in house by Kellie. They can be customized to coordinate with the rest of the wedding florals. Elements like sugar flowers, gold leaf, ruffles, stencils, or any other custom details will be included in the total cake price, which will be presented to you with your cake sketches.
Dessert Add-Ons & Edible Favours
In addition to you wedding cake, extra goodies are available from our menu for your eye-catching dessert table or wedding guest favours.
A few faves: macaron, beautifully printed cookies, cupcakes, decorated sugar cookie favours & gourmet cookies.

The Process
01. inquiry
Get started with the contact page on the website!. A detailed questionnaire will then be sent to you for more information about your special day. Kellie’s recommendation is to start the process at least 10-12 months in advance.. If you have photos of the style of cake you have in mind, or a mood board from your planner or florist, send those too!
02. cake sketches & pricing
Once Kellie has all of those details, she will put together a number of cake sketches for you to choose from, along with pricing for each idea.
03. tasting box
Tasting boxes will be available on a set day every month, except during wedding season. This box is not customizable, but rather contains a preset offering of five of the most popular flavors. It's a great way to get an idea of the quality of Kellie’s cakes and the possible choices available to you. Cost of the box is $40.
04. contract & retainer
A contract will be delivered via email and a 50% retainer is required to book.
05. confirmation & final payment
5 weeks prior to the wedding, a final confirmation of details will be emailed, as well as firming up any details needed for delivery. A balance reminder will be sent 2 weeks prior.
06. the big day! cake delivery
Today’s the day! Your cake will be delivered to your requested location at the confirmed time. It will be set up and waiting the arrival of you and your guests.
